2nd Edition, Art Telephonia
(SeeS position 6)
Participating in Art Telephonia 2nd Edition was refreshing for SeeS. Conjured over the COVID-19 pandemic, Art Telephonia unfolded an online platform for artists across the globe to participate in an illustration based project to be exhibited online.
The guidelines given were:Â
1) Finish the piece within 5 days of receiving the previous
2) Not to post anything until the final illustration and whole project has completed
3) Do not ask questions based upon the previous Artist's work received

The Peach of Immortality
"ARTIST'S DESCRIPTION:
From the other Artist's work I used colour for influence alongside what I presumed was a warrior peach.
For my own artwork I have used the peach as a symbol as inspiration. Peach as symbol, represents luck and protection alongside immortality or reaching a very old age. Inspiring my piece with these features I have used walking sticks rather than weapons, because experienced people hold their own features of being able to balance life and comfort those around them with love. Warriors are strong as so, a classic muse for strength through British illustration is Popeye therefore, I have incorporated as strong-arms as the peach. In order to bring the whole piece together I wanted to incorporate the tree of life into the background whilst, enriching it with a picture of my physical colour palette I used to paint the Peach and his/ her features."
